Security and privacy

2020-01-11

We seek to protect the fundamental right to privacy from illegitimate interference by the State and individuals who take the form of mass surveillance and control of information and personal data, in order to promote and maintain an environment in which citizens enjoy autonomy for participation in democratic life. Taking into account that a great portion of today’s life goes through all kinds of networks and digital devices, we work to ensure that public policies, State practices and individuals promote security conditions that guarantee, as far as possible, that the use of Technologies will not carry risks to your fundamental rights. We work to educate and foster the interest of public policymakers, journalists and the general public about these issues.
